INDANCITY is proud to present our second major production, Beyond 2010. Based on (pronounced “shi”), or ten, Beyond 2010† celebrates SMU’s growth and maturity with choreographies revolving around the various pronunciations and thus interpretations of “shi”.
Allow us to intrizgue you with dance movements spanning from Asian contemporary to Western theatrical genres. With the injections from distinguished guest choreographers, Albert Tiong, Xu Jie and, Filomar Cortezano Tariao, together with our resident choreographer, Dan Kwoh, Beyond 2010 promises an energetic and
varied selection of performances.
Not only does Beyond create a platform to nurture young promising dancers to an unprecedented degree, it also seeks to build appreciation and demand for the arts through dance. Beyond 2010 marks the continuation of our journey in dance. As we earnestly showcase our passion and accomplishments, we hope that you will be part of our group’s tradition in this exhilarating yearly production.
